Project Background

This project was completed for CareerBuilder in the fall of 2017. The purpose of this project was to revise the Jobs and Applications User Guide after a major user interface update.

Project Role

For this project, I revised the copy and screenshots in the user guide to reflect changes in the look and functionality of the software.

Work Process

My process to revise the user guide was as follows:

  • Compared new software UI to user guide copy and screenshots to determine where revisions were needed
  • Used Snagit to capture software screenshots
  • Revised copy in InDesign to reflect functionality changes
  • Replaced screenshots in InDesign layout
  • Published as PDF and submitted for review
  • Revised and re-submitted according to feedback
  • Uploaded approved PDF to Brainshark and project files to Microsoft OneDrive
