Project Background

This project was completed in the summer of 2016 as part of the interview process for an eLearning Development Contractor opening at CareerBuilder. The purpose of this project was to demonstrate my eLearning development skills.

Software Used

  • Microsoft Word
  • Snagit
  • Adobe Captivate

Work Process

My process to develop this software simulation was as follows:

  • Created a storyboard in Microsoft Word to plan the overall layout with instructions, feedback, interactions, triggers and graphics for each slide
  • Used Snagit to capture software screenshots
  • Used Adobe Captivate to build out the simulation with screenshots, graphics, text and interactions
  • Tested the simulation to make sure interactions functioned correctly and performed any troubleshooting or revisions needed
  • Published Captivate project and uploaded to AWS S3 storage site
